Walk to Stonehenge across the chalk grassland of Salisbury Plain, home to stunning wildflowers and habitat to many animals, including deer, hare and a wide variety of birds including the rare Great Bustard, classed as “Vulnerable” on the IUCN Red List of Globally Threatened Species.

Take in the wooded areas and Bronze Age burial mounds of King Barrow Ridge and explore the ancient sites of Woodhenge and Durrington Walls.

There are also shorter walks such as the Amesbury Hiking Loop and Lord’s Walk.
